ADVISORY: You may want to buckle up for this one, read at your own risk…there’s an elephant in the room that needs to be discussed.
I’m not trying to bash anyone, but the frequency of your words matter and it’s no coincidence that some of the most awful things become the most popular.
The way we use words can certainly reveal a story, one that it’s easy to get caught up in and be unable to zoom out to view the greater message on display.
If you really take a deep breath and scroll social media, you’ll see that everyone is trying to sell a short-cut to something. It’s a get-rich quick diatribe of influencers who are the new advertisements and caricatures for the digital age.
What exactly are the influencers, celebrities, gurus trying to sell you? An easy pill to emptiness and the feelings that you constantly need more than you do because you aren’t enough…this is the real message. Your feelings of unworthiness, IF YOU LET THEM, will feed their bank accounts and empty out your own pockets, passion and purpose. Ultimately, it’s just another hamster wheel for the masses to jump on.
I’ve fallen into it too many times and probably take too many supplements (though not vitamins, mostly herbs…because that’s a rabbit hole that will help you quickly clear your “medicine” cabinet).
Bio-Hacking is Transhumanism.
The bio-hacking of the beauty industry is bad enough and easy to see in the botched beauties contouring every angle in the same way pharma feeds you a pill that then creates more side effects to mask. The bio-hacking influencers are more nuanced in their approach, at least until you see through it. They have created a new transhumanistic focused industry that is big business…and anything but human.
If you just meditate for hours a day, take all these supplements, buy all this equipment, track your sleep, track your breath, track your steps, track-track-track your life….if you just test your bio-markers, change everything about yourself and your homes, optimize your life by multi-tasking on 10 things to minimize 10 other things, so you have time for more maximizing of other things….then you will hack your biology and live to 150….and it will be a fucking nightmare.
I’m not oblivious, the jokes on me as I sit here drinking my butter infused MCT oil coffee, I’m a sucker sometimes, but I’m consciously aware of it and won’t take it too far. After workign in the advertising industry for many years, I know when I’ve been ensnared by exceptional marketing and delicious coffee beans; I know my weaknesses.
New Age Spirituality is Transhumanism.
Think about the terminology, folks. The galactic federation, the med-beds, the ascension symptoms (that are really just life choice symptoms wrapped up in a justification for feeling special), the narcissistic attempts at “transcending” the physical (aka escaping reality) to become God (aka escaping reality) in a fantasy no different than the transhumanist agenda to transcend being human by cloning your digital self, as is the New Age spirituality, as is bio-hacking….all of it wants you to deny nature, yet this is where your Divinity is housed, this is where the real work is, the narrow path is not in transcendence, but in acceptance of your whole being in the whole experience in the realm of the natural…you will escape it one day…I think you know what I mean. Remember, Being Human is Spiritual, you can’t hack that no matter how hard you try.
An outer façade of “looking” spiritual as if to hack some special path to enlightenment that sounds great but is made up of a false paradigm trying to leave out pain, suffering, or hardships…. You know, the things that make us authentic and real and give rise to joy, purpose and love.
The Medical Industrial Complex pushing its literal hacking up of children’s identities and stabbing the artificial into the human body is transhumanism.
It’s twisted as fuck and I’m not going to sugar coat it.
I can’t with this. There is nothing more horrific than seeing children or teenagers flaunted with cut off breasts on the internet, as if this is ok, normal. People have lost their minds, it’s sad, it’s cruel, it’s brutal. Adult’s, do what you will, but stop giving children hormones, surgeries or brainwashing them with gender affirming nonsense and let them be. And, no, I will not call you by your pronoun, sorry, but no…others may make you comfortable by de-humanizing you, but out of sheer love for the soul inside of another I will not. No one is an it or a they, you are a living being and I will honor you as such.
And then there is the hacking via the jabs, what’s in those things? Are people really trackable now from what was in them? I, honestly, have no idea. It’s bad enough that in some places the experiments of inserting chips or tattooing QR codes is being sold as the “cool” new thing. I won’t even use a QR code menu, no thanks, I’d like a paper one please.
The Technocracy of the internet-of-things is Transhumanism.
Think about how “hacking” is used in technology, it’s a breach of our inner-world, a hack. Someone has metaphorically used a “hacksaw” to slice through your privacy. The normalization of posting both traumatic events and virtue signaling false charity signifies the extremes that live on the same pendulum of a false persona or self-seeking validation through apparitions. The digital world seems to be magnifying the ego and instead of being a place where there is potential of connecting with others from all over the world, it often becomes a highlight reel of filtered falsehood.
Just look at the entertainment, I mean entrainment, being sold. And how much longer it takes to get through 400 prompts to call a company when there is an issue that a 5-minute call with a real human should be able to resolve. Bring your digital ticket to a show, oops, internet is down. Everyone is supposed to always be available now because of the imprisonment by CELLphones, yet, still, most of the population seems to have no clue about the transhumanistic agenda.
I watched that new Beekeeper movie with Jason Statham and I wasn’t mad about his vigilante justice because I got scammed like the lady in that movie, yep, hackers hacked into my PayPal and changed an invoice AND the PayPal phone number inside PayPal to which when I went to pay the invoice (that looked like it was from someone I pay for services) they hacked my bank account and wiped a lot out…thankfully I was able to recover from this, but I can tell you one thing, I’m not too keen on anything around “hacking” anything (except when it comes to chopping wood for a fire, this I can get behind).
AI wants to “fill in the blanks” of your life so you don’t have to. From writing books for you to posting for you on social media, you must ask yourself, why are you even here if you are going to hand it all over to a machine that is only as conscious as what programmed it?
I’d rather hear from you, the living being, than read words missing soul, fraught with lackluster frequencies that sound good but are nothing but lines filling up a bowl.

I like Dave Asprey, the guy seems to mean well, not all of his advice is bad…though he, like many bio-hackers, sell the idea they will live longer than anyone else, seem to be aging faster? Life is filled with irony, isn’t it? What is the cost to all this hacking? It’s expensive in the literal sense and in the sense of lost time, and just getting lost in the minutia of more.
I thought it was just me, but then I was talking to a friend who brought up the same point and we started noticing strange things inside the bio-hacking communities.
The new carol-bike he’s promoting is the ultimate shiny object syndrome, just 5 minutes a day and your bio-markers will shave years off your life, I mean add years to your life, who knows anymore… and it will only cost you the price of a car and a smidge of your soul.
Reviews for all these products on the Youtube are endless, but you know if you want it, you’re gonna find that confirmation bias and do it ayway, so skip over the bullshit and start shopping, some things we have to learn the hard way.
I’m half joking, as ultimately bio-hacking feeds the hands of a few that fear death and want to promote longevity vis-a-vis hacking up the greatest NATURAL technology that exists…the human body. It’s an empty quest that comes with a cost.
The bio-hacker, Bryan Johnson, is spending millions to try to be young again and live forever. It’s “another’ form of delusion being normalized because it is part of an industry that plays to the fear of mortality everyone must face.
This industry seems to have no true reverence for the sacredness of being human, of recognizing the body as a temple, of partaking in communion with nature. What they promote is a transhumanistic attempt at transcending the physical world, it’s the ultimate avoidance of the gift of life. It’s a focus on the outer, instead of the inner, because science has become their God and balance is not part of the equation.
For me, I feel the less I bio-hack and the less I do, the healthier I get. I don’t even wear make-up most days, my skin is glowing since I stopped trying to slather on a mask. It’s been an evolution inwardly that has slowly shifted outwardly. I still love mascara and lip gloss, but more than ever, my face is naked most days.
I got suckered in to some things I really love like my mini trampoline and vibration plate …detox pathways are important AND the hackers know this…damn, they got me again.
Bio-Hacking has created an entirely new, and very profitable, industry that adds more to your plate, in the same way corporations and schools keep you chained to a desk.
They will tell you things like:
- Wake up at 4:00
- No coffee til 7:00 but then it must have only these 14 ingredients in it for your body to be properly Optimized and Maximized and Hacked for its full potential
- Then do Wim HOF deep breathing until 4:13, but never slow calming breaths, they must be fast-fast-fast (because faster everything, short cuts are the way……………. not)
- At 4:13 do a cold plunge for 12 minutes because 12 minutes is the time analyzed to death (words matter remember)
- Then do primal movements for 10 minutes, eat 4 organic (wild caught by fishermen who also only eat wild caught fish) sardines, never eat carbs, jump up and down 400 times, hang from a bar, induce a fake laugh for 3 minutes, snort salt then flip upside for 7 minutes, always wear yellow glasses that look like you could start welding at any minute, make sure you don’t drink coffee unless you spin it around 14 times clockwise then using only a copper spoon add grass fed grass finished butter inside of it…..I could go on and I’m making this up, but you see the point…right?
Everything is about short cuts. Notice the word Cuts and Hacks are kin…you picking up what I’m putting down? There seems to be no part seeking alignment with the natural rhythms and cycles of seasons.
Often the things that we worry about make the things even worse. Like a calm mind eating and enjoying a pizza or ice cream from time to time is less harmful than stressing about every single thing you put in your body being utilized. Nourishment misses the mark when cloaked in stress, expectations, and fear.
Somehow the bio-hackers, even the mindful-ones can’t see that the thing they are avoiding (death/aging/enjoyment of living) is actually being deeply resisted through all the hacking...eh, ehm, I think someone needs to do their shadow work.
Like technology, everything that is supposed to short-cut, hack, maximize, and optimize often does the opposite.
It takes away: time, flow, presence.
Wake up do a cold plunge then do this then do that…. we aren’t meant to live this way. All the fake services (and I like some of them, I’m not saying don’t ever do any of them or that some of them don’t offer up some value that is helpful) …. I’m just bringing to the forefront the fact that it's not natural.
If we just strip away instead of always adding, we find that we have time to read the books we want to read, invite back in the flow of leisure, of connecting with nature, not on any strict daily agenda that brings more exhaustion, but giving space inside that schedule to shift/change/listen, doing what we know our body needs that day and sometimes it’s rest…and sometimes it’s discipline….and sometimes it’s a short meditation or a long one or none at all, but it flows with the rhythm of life. I’m not oblivious to the value in discipline and the balance of flow either, both have a place.
The obsessions are endless. Taking time to really step back, it becomes easier to see this is not reflecting the true seasons of life, not harmonious.
This hacking is often rigid and harsh. It’s an extreme in the yang, it’s the patriarchal (a better word escapes me as I write this) system (the “doing” of the masculine energy) transferred to hacking…it is without the feminine yin, the beauty of sinking in, stepping back and feeling the body in all its aliveness of expression as we create a story from the inside out that encompasses both immaterial and material.
When the feminine is not included in the story, the story is not whole, not aligned, incomplete.
When the feminine is included, life softens, we can see that we don’t need to hack our biology, because the human body is always working for us, always healing, always speaking truth, always guiding us where we need to focus. The key is learning to feel it and hear it and become more embodied, more compassionate, more loving, to work with it, not AGAINST it.
Hacking says, my humanity is not enough so I must hack it, transcend it, make it different than what it is.
Hacking into the digital version or yourself is like looking in a mirror and scrying yourself out of the picture.
Embodiment is a daily practice of awareness that invites all the senses to be present.
Once this happens you will want to move your body in a way that it is called to YOU, you will want to eat in a way that is nourishing for YOU, you will want to live in a way that is natural for YOU…sometimes that invites stillness, reflection, quiet, solitude…sometimes that invites in playfulness, connection, intensity.
The mind will play tricks on you, but the body tells the story.
True enlightenment is knowing that you know nothing, it’s a stripping away, it’s a rooting down, it’s deep presence, awareness of the eternal, the aethereal, the limits and limitlessness both …. it’s sitting in the pain, it’s integrating the shadow, it’s hard, it’s painful, it’s sorry, it’s sorrow, it’s joy, it’s work, there is no easy button, no short cut, no “hack” will take you there.
Speaking of hacks, I love a sauna. Red light therapy has helped my knee. I have a work-out app subscription to try to help me be more consistent. Some of these things can serve us when we use them and don’t let them use us. I probably don’t need any of it, but I do enjoy some of it.
It’s all easier said than done. The intention is usually positive, an unconscious desire to be better, healthier, yet often has an unintended consequence or cost attached when taken too far.
Mostly, when I just live, when I follow my intuition, when I work outside lifting bags of mulch and cleaning the chicken coop, or take walks/go on hikes, I’m happier and healthier than any hack has ever given me.
Ask yourself does adding this to my life feel expansive or just one more thing to do on a list?
I get it, I LOVE a to-do list. I thrive with them. They motivate me….AND I have to keep stripping away what I think needs to “be done” versus what doesn’t.
Adding more things onto life in order to have a longer life can often do the opposite because it stops life from actually being lived.
Which things are the most useful for “you” and not just some hack to convince you that, because it’s the new cool thing, it must also be good for you.
If history tells us one thing, it’s that what is the most popular is often the least viable solution, sometimes even harmful (as found out later), or known yet ignored, or that insight is censored at the time of the “things” popularity.
Sometimes we have to waste money or time on something in order to realize how ridiculous it is (I laugh at myself a lot because I have done this too many times and still do). It’s part of being human.
Sometimes there are small things that really do make big impacts and maybe those are things you add in because you have learned they genuinely work for you, for your needs.
The fact is, society – the system – the egregore is always going to distract you and want more from you because it can’t sustain without your money and energy.
We think of discernment as being able to see through all the insanity of the world out there but we have to learn to discern within ourselves too.
I’m still learning that part, un-learning, and dissolving habits, beliefs, “hacks,” and things I think I need but probably don’t.
It’s not something that happens overnight, it’s a slow dance with life that has many dips and turns, sometimes steps back or sideways to eventually take that leap of surrender forward.
Your biology doesn’t need to be “hacked,” you’re a walking miracle, natural technology, beautifully designed to be YOU.
Don’t forsake life now for the illusion that you will have another day.
Technology that can only be “programmed” by humans and does not have the ability to “sense” the world around it, can never hold the light of being, the spark of Divinity, the essence of purpose…yet humans can choose to utilize it for something good, or as it seems is the uncomfortable truth unraveling before us …. for bad.
Look up from your phone, that’s probably the best “hack” you could do and find presence again…. have a coffee with a friend and have conversation again…. if you want a hack, these are probably rather life changing.
The simplicity of living holds so much more wisdom than another complex hack ever could.
I’m working on it too.
Bio-Hacking is not the way. It’s a path where the spiritual void is deepened, the heart is hardened and the beauty of our humanness forgotten.
I’m not saying don’t use a few products or supplements that are helpful, you do wat works for you, but the choice should be made consciously with comprehension in knowing your own why.
I write this to bring awareness to the issue of how we so haphazardly come in to the use words that are kind of icky within exposure to the repetition of media influence, how we take up habits, like hacking, without a second thought. In many ways, the repetition makes something become familiar or engrained and it’s up to us to stop and say, wait a minute, what is really going on here? What does this really mean? What is being sold as the norm? What is culture really buying into? Keep asking questions.
The transition from TV commercials to influencers has been so seamless that I think people forget sometimes it’s just that, a commercial, only now it’s held in your hand.
Often, we forget that many influencers are just a marketing ad for a product (and sometimes that product is you). Other times it is a product that you might want, but not need, just know the difference so that you can choose wisely.
Enjoy all the tips and tricks available that might feel like (or in actuality) enhance your life, but also know when it’s a crutch, an avoidant tactic or a fear-lead decision.
And for God’s sake stop saying “hack.” The normalization of brutality in a culture starts with its words and your biology is Divine, not something to hack up energetically, physically, or through mental compartmentalization.
You want to hack your life, start with not “hacking” and instead seeking harmony through connecting the heart and the head….it doesn’t need hacking, it needs harmonizing.
You’re a miracle, I promise you don’t need to hack your reality, your body, your mind….understand it, yes, get to know it, yes, find embodiment, yes, integration, yes…..technology will hack open a cornucopia of distractions….the consensus of the masses will hack up consciousness into little separations, pieces of glass shards that we all have to put back together…………..it’s the mending we need more of, not the hacking.
Transhumanism and all of the different types of hacking go hand-in-hand…remember, we live in a world where you have to click that you’re not a robot, where communication has been deduced to emojis so much so that most of the world walked around in masks (looking like one) for a time and the spiritual gurus want you to bow down to the artificial, to take on everything as your fault, your creation - the ultimate egoic gaslighting made manifest in the very thing it wants to absolve. Those that preach oneness yet know not nothingness, that want to conglomerate and captalize on an idea that is only fruitful in its potentiality, void of self-responsibility, integrity, individuation and co-operation with Source.
It’s getting harder to escape the surveillance state, so we’re all going to have to get better at opting out of things in order to hold on to our privacy, our humanness. We’re not using technology as a collective, it’s using us.
Individually we can change that, little by little we can reclaim and return our energy from the black mirror(s) that too easily capture our grasp. It’s the one area where hacking something might work, you know like taking it all into a field and hacking it up? (remember the fax machine scene in the movie Office Space)
There is no hack or short-cut to life and the ones we usually try lead us right back around to where we started, thus making the path longer. If you know you need to do something, you have to do it. If you think someone else has a hack that can help you, ask yourself, do they really? If it’s too good to be true, it probably isn’t going to work.
All of these bio-hacking gadgets feel a little too Mad-Max, maybe the left-over parts will be helpful in a post-apolacyptic world. Step right up and hack your way out of the tyranny with these left over light therapy goggles and oura tracking ring (great to have in case you have to defend yourself from robbers and punch someone in the face).
You can’t avoid rolling up your sleeves to life and you can’t outsource your humanity to a machine…you can try, but in the end nature is nature and you are of that. If you hack down a tree it dies, are you not like a tree? What exactly are you trying to hack away, hack down, hack through? Is there really a short cut that will give you the answer you seek or will nature always end up taking its course?
Now leave me alone, I’ve got to go do my red light therapy now, ground for 10 minutes and sun-gaze…at least 2 out of these 3 is connecting with nature…I can justify that much. Ha-Ha!
With love and searching for more harmonious living,
😊
Angela
I think this needs to be read far and wide. A wake-up call.
Without FB, Insta and the likes I’m already regarded as archaic. Don’t watch tv (it’s in a room without cable connection), skipped the ‘news’ papers (just one good magazine) and don’t follow any fad. I do meditate when the cats are asleep. And try to communicate with my friends all over the world.
But if there’s one thing that would bring me back to earth should I digress, it’s the presence of my cats. They are my first concern.
New Age Spiriturality came out of the 1960s generation looking to have a form of transcendence but not from traditional religions, so they looked to Eastern Religions. Today, it is similar but with Transhumanism, which is really just New Age wrapped in digital language, such as bio-hacking. People and corporations seized on it as a way to enrich themselves.
I agree; the best thing anyone can do is look up from your phone, meet with real people and get out into the natural world to hear the birds. Nothing beats a physical presence.
