The 42 laws of Maat is something I check in on myself with periodically. I also resonate with it because it is on oneself and what the Egyptians referred to as the Negative confessions. It’s not an external command but one firmly rooted within and there’s no fooling oneself.
Right, to clarify for those reading the comments, the 42 laws are positive because it’s on yourself to say, not imposed upon you. When your soul stands in front of Thoth, the record keeper, and Ammit, who’s waiting to devour your heart if it is not light, while your your heart is weighed, you hopefully are negatively confessing saying “I have not committed theft,” etc. But like many rituals within the Egyptian Book of the Dead, which really is called The Book of Coming Forth by Day, or the Book of Coming Forth into the Light, these positive affirmations or negative confessions (depending upon your view but see the yin yang there) can be applied in this realm.
Yes, indeed, I just meant the NOT is canceled out when programming the unconscious which is why I like the reframe. Thus, to say what I'm not going to do reinforces the negative instead of the desired positive outcome. I look at this in regard to conditional acceptance in natural law, I'm not negating but affirming under condition. It's like stating what is instead of what isn't? Like I'm not an anti-vaxer, but I am pro health. The here and now, Yes! <3
I appreciate the reframe and how it corresponds to aligning with Natural Law, as well as how it works on the unconscious. I’ll try the reframe. Thank you Angela.😊
In The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, the number 42 is the answer to the "Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything". Adams said he chose the number at random as an absurd outcome of computer Deep Thought’s multibillion year pondering.
oh wow I'm saving this one for those tenants. I have several that I checked off that I need to work on!

Thank you for reminding me to pray for strength so that burdens become easier to carry. I just remembered how much easier things are now that used to seem hard.

Yes, me too. I like the positive version more than the negative commands strictlly from a subconscious awareness and programming perspective.

Also I appreciate this comment, as I didn't want to get too far into The Book of the Dead in the article, I appreciate your dialogue on the topic. :)
