Please don’t delete this later. It’s really long and I’d like to re read it. It really resonates with me. It’s been a busy, busy, week and so many of these thought fragments that you touch on have been flittering here and there in my mind all week. I have a long piece that I started earlier in the week that may not ever see the light of day….and maybe that’s for the best.

It will be here and I'm thrilled that it resonated so much you'd come back to re-read it. Let me know if you end up posting the piece you started.....sometimes those we start fork off into something else entirely....things I started writing and was certain I would post sit in the bin and then off-the-cuff things that inspire me make it through....let the mind flittering commence.

I do enjoy the way you think. We’re likely similar in a lot of ways. I’m terribly sorry 😆

ha ha, don't be sorry, it's both blessing and curse, can't have one without the ...other!

I definitely understand being made a monster of. Truly and fully. In fact, that thought experiment is the reason my page exists at all. However the piece I’m talking about Im afraid would only cause more fear, loathing, hatred, and anger amongst the evangelicals, the “check a box” religious crowd, and the New Age folk alike. Although Im pretty sure I’m correct in my assessment of the idea.

It’s kind of terrifying actually.

Really great post, glad you left it. I sometimes say I am the door keeper. I hold the door for someone, they enter, they get their fill, they figure things out, they walk out, maybe to never see them again. Whatever they needed to process, I am glad, I do love hearing what others are thinking and their stories, so many are caught up in beliefs that are not helping them, but hold on tight. It's hard to let go of something that you have used to live your whole life.

Anyway, I do the same thing, go back and forth about posting something. When I hit the button, well, I just go walk the dogs, work in the garden, eat something sweet and try and let it go. When I come back to read any comments... if there are any, I try and remember, that I too may have something to learn. SS, has been cool, because it seems now it's my turn to walk through the door and let someone else listen, giving me the chance to process life, my life.

Thanks Kara. Yes send and go live life in the real...weird how the digital permanency changes things. I really like what you said about holding the door....sometimes we hold a door, sometimes we walk through one, sometimes there is a crack, sometimes it is locked tight....and we keep moving on. ❤️🙏🏻

This line: “Can we go back to the 80’s please…the 1780’s that is… LOL, what a dork…. see how this works? S.O.S. Save me from myself, I’m GenX, I had to learn how to entertain myself, a victim produced by seatbeltless station wagons, tang chemical koolaid, and baby-sitters that went missing for long periods of time”👏👏🤣🤣

I love that you gave a whole essay to writing about cringe😂👏 We must be on a similar wavelength, I have a post coming out tomorrow where I did the same- kinda, except I used the word ‘taboo’ but I guess taboo can be cringe for many people and they’re sorta the same.

I agree with you that it’s odd- to be living in a world where everything is so vulnerable yet so impersonal. But I was reading a book called Loge Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It and the author said he only presses ‘post’ if it gives him that cringe feeling, like that’s how he knows it’s worth it to share it, otherwise he doesn’t do it. I was fascinated by that!

ooh I love what you said about if it feels cringe it means it's worth doing, great insight into this whole scenario....I look forward to reading your piece on taboos!

I love every part of this!! Thank you for taking us through your inner world with such superbly descriptive writing, I feel you.

I happen to know about Human Design, and the 5/1 profile. It’s not easy being the Heretic. But the world needs you! Your voice matters, your heretical views matter, and although it suck’s to be the trigger for projections - it’s a gift that matters to the evolution of the soul. Those who will walk away from the trigger, rather than face it - aren’t worth your time or energy. Truly.

My husband is a 5/1 Projector. So he gets projected on in many directions. But he’s learned to find comfort in the chaos of being the trigger for growth. Not easy but worth it!

I love that you shared all of this. Please don’t delete it. It’s the most real, beautiful thing I’ve read in a long while.

From one genXer, 1/3, manifesting generator, I see you! Keep changing the world by speaking up & being the heretic! 💖

Give your husband a salute from one 5/1 to another and I do appreciate the support and encouragement, truly! Over and out, GenXer's rock the house! :)

LOL that was a hypothetical scene about two friends sharing time together, but there are also many wonderful health benefits to coffee that has been demonized so to each their own.
