It does start with a V, victor, vivacious, vibrant. It’s hard to embrace ragged eaters of death and decay. However, they do serve a purpose and they do it masterfully.

You honored the vultures well and gave us much to think about. Thank you.

This is so amazing. I didn’t know that about Egypt..I do feel there’s something shamanic about vultures…I’ll never forget the time I got lost hiking out in country fields and came upon an old rusted abandoned trailer. I peeked inside and there was a vulture living in there. It looked so haunting and so regal at the same time. Love reading your perspective on them and how you exalt them as divine.

Nekhbet has a lot of interesting symbolism regarding the Feminine too as they thought most of the Vultures were females and that they reproduced without male counterparts. I do believe, however, in reality Vultures are mostly monogamous.

Thank you so much. I'm so glad it restonated. I am truly moved by them, they have been showing up for me in so many ways and as a libra who often feels between worlds they have a sense of kinship that I can't explain but wanted to try. :)
