If you saw my first post on this topic, The World Staring Back at Me: Part 1, then you know I’ve got a whole lot of weird in me and apparently the world has given this a “disorder(ly)” diagnosis called pareidolia.
Pareidolia is when you perceive faces or images in everyday objects. The psychiatrists for the masses say that it’s the assignment of meaning to stimuli that is meaning-less…. ah they love to gaslight people because they sure don’t want you to “see” anything other than what they prescribe in the entrainment of mayhem. I think it’s something else entirely, which is why they love to poke fun.
2 thoughts on this wacky ability:
1) It’s the gift of pattern recognition and an ability to focus on minute details combined. Perhaps people with this are less fooled by propaganda as they can spot patterns in unusual places, like media images or subliminal programming. Like the tests as children that show a set of images and asks, what doesn’t belong with the others, so too is pareidolia a gift of spotting the out of place…or maybe just a fun quirk.
2) I have begun to wonder if, like Veda Austin and Masaru Emoto’s work with images imprinting in water, as well as changes in food when spoken to negatively or positively, that maybe everything has a similar energy pattern that’s not always so visible. Maybe not, but there is no doubt objects hold energy from their environment or the individuals interacting with them...that’s why sentimentality exists after all!
Either way, like in part 1, it makes me giggle when I see images in things sometimes. It breaks up the day in a moment of jest, like the cosmos communicating in a comedic pantomime of symbols knowing we’re fed up with reality down here.
Here’s today’s images for you, mostly from my ceiling and deck, I hope it makes you smile! 😊Do you see what I see?
