Politicians are like used car salesmen
Making false promises again and again
Because they are just pawns in a game
Playing a roll, an actor seeking fame
They never ever-ever-ever tell the truth
They don't care about me, nor you
They do as they are told every time
Bought and sold, they're empty mimes
More statutes and rules, taking from you
They don't abide by the Golden Rule
They don't even know the Natural Law
Nature is the enemy, Power is their call
Glorified criminals who have a lot of gall
You useless eater, they'll help themselves
Disconnected from good, they sell us hell
Wolf in Sheep's Clothing over and over
How can't you see it, a game of red-rover
Look over here, but don't read the fine print
Cause you've been had, by the same old blueprint
Bread and Circus, keeps hold of your attention
Anything at all to keep away Divine intervention
How dare you activate your God given gifts
Don't go into nature, but they’ll sell a permit
As long as you continue to stay enraged
Your mind is trapped inside their cage
While the same story plays upon display
Forgetting you're magic, taking the broad-way
Ancient propaganda on a shiny new screen
So many lures keep you sucked in the machine
It’s all for your safety is what they'll tell you
History repeats until you begin to see through
Stories made up to line their pocket from your fear
They give the people the cozy lies they want to hear
But the battle's spiritual, and they're the devil's cashier
Empty promises, nothing useful, nothing true
More control, more restrictions, more tyranny spewed
Nothing empowering, just marketing in suits
Until you decide to take back your power, return to you
Find your sovereignty, change up the field of view
Voting won't save you, only tighten the noose
Spilling hot air to push an agenda on the 5:00 news
You can't beg your master to release you from the snare
You can't get your freedom from a clown-world timeshare
They lied about viruses, they lied about the choice
They lied about space, they lied about oil
They lied about taxes, they lied about your name
They lied about wars, it’s patriotic they proclaim
They lied about mandates, they lied about the game
They lied about the weather, another suspicious crisis to blame
They want your data, your obedience is up for rent
They can't get away without your coin and your consent
They make the offer and you line up without dissent
At least in the old days they spoke with eloquence
Because your guy is going to make your life better
Keep your hands tied and tap your vein to the tether
I'm sure THIS TIME it will be different, something will change
Just like your grandpa and his, and his, all said just the same
But hey you voted, so let the cards play as they play
As long as you go along, the system always gets their prey
If you want something different, you have to make another choice
Not between the illusion of two sides, but from inside your own voice
Every day is sacred, but the politician's want you to waste it
Don't look back with regret from giving your most precious asset
They'll take your money, currency and time, if you let them
They'll murder, coerce and steal for the religion called statism
The game is rigged and it has been that way from the start
There’s a reason they want you stuck in your head and not your heart
Let this be a reminder that there is so much more to life
Than standing in line for an actor who will only bring more strife
As long as they keep everyone divided, two wings on the same bird
The truth will remain bottled up and censored, the people never heard
Starve the beast that is fed by your power, let them eat their own words
And return to living in honor, more centered and with love
Let the superstition of the system, remove its boxing gloves
For Lady Justice comes in peace, and she’s as peaceful as a dove
She invites you to make a choice, but not between the left or right
Not between all that is broken in extremes of black and white
Look inside and promise yourself to muster up all your might
And let go of that which binds you, turn on that vibrant guiding light
Liberty comes, not from permissions granted, from power by a few
The scales of justice find their balance when we finally face the truth
Freedom’s not given out like candy, it must be claimed inside-out, by you.
